LIFTBOY Electric Wire Rope Hoists are designed in modular construction in accordance with IS:3938. Our hoists sturdy with adequate factor of safety and are built to low headroom. The hoists are simple in repair & cuts down the maintenance time. Gears are running on antifriction ball bearing in oil bath lubrication and the motors are crane duty confirming to IS:325. “Fail to Safety” brakes are used which automatically operates in case of power failure. Tested high quality steel wire rope as per IS:2266 and forged hooks confirming IS:3815 are used. The Hoists are operated through push button station with control voltage of 110V, 42V and 24V. We can also manufacture customized hoists as per customers' requirement with 10% micro speed to normal speed, with flexible trolleys to negotiated curved path, with higher speed and higher lifts. The hoists can also be built to suit steel mill duty, foundries and chemical plants.

LIFTBOY hoists are available in wide range of capacities starting from 250 Kgs, up to 15,000 Kgs.

Main Frame
The frame consists of mild steel plates of tested quality.
Rope Drum
Steel fabricated/seamless pipe drum is machine grooved to IS:3938 and is designed to accommodate the whole length of wire in one layer only. It revolves on heavy duty self aligning roller bearings.
Rope Guide
Specially designed steel fabricated rope guide can be very easily dismantled from rope drum. It leads the rope into the spiral grooves in the drum and retains it in the grooves preventing overlapping or loosening off the drum.
Wire Rope
6×36 construction steel wire rope with minimum factor of safety of 5 is provided.
Gearbox
Complete gear train for hoisting motion is in an enclosed casing provided with oil bath lubrication. The gears are made of alloy steel.
Lifting Hook
Forged steel shank type hook with thrust bearing for swivel is incorporated.
Trolley
Runner wheel can be factory adjusted for various sizes. I-Beams, Trolley, Motor Driven, Hand Chain Driven or pull/Pus type can be provided as the requirement.
Motor
Motors are of hoist duty, three phase, 415 volts 50 Hz AC Squirrel Cage induction motor with high starting torque,40% CDF rating in Class-B insulation as per IS:325-1970. The motors are suitable for frequent reversing and are of Bharat Bijili/Crompton/NGEF make.
Hoist Brake
The hoist motor is fitted within electromagnetic brake of shoe/disc type. The brake is designed for 150% of load torque to ensure safe holding of the load. Make-BCH
Limit Switch
Snap action type limit switches are provided to avoid over hoisting and over lowering.
Control
The hoist is controlled from ground level by means of pendent type push buttons operating on low voltage of 110 volts to ensure safety of the operator. Control Panel is of enclosed type, easily removable cover, consisting of air break type direct on line, heavy duty reversing contactors, low voltage transformer, fuses and overload relays.
